I suspect Neal's bid will be right up there near the top.

I think it would be cool if you had the money and it being for charity obviously makes it all that much better. Hang with Steve Perry tax-free. :)

Good on him for putting it out there. Hope he makes good money for the cause.

And on the subject of Cancer money - I'm all about small government, but we are launching telescopes to hopefully get good info on Comet ISON. I'm all for cool pictures, but can we prioritize here. Cancer research needs a lot more money! We should have had a cure by now.

Love it! Perhaps you'll get an opportunity for him to burp you as well! LOL!

This auction seems to be an auction for those high rollers which I am not but send anyone who can bid lots of love and luck! It should be a lot of fun and interesting to talk to your idol! Hope it last at least an hour or two!

Clapping wildly! What a wonderful cause for wonderful people who need all the prayers and love we can send! Bravo!

Was I the only one who thought, for a moment, that this was Arnel's charity? Can you imagine this board if it were???

You Sir are genius

If Neal is willing to fork out some $$$$ ....... and Steve is open to a reconciliation

It may just lead to an acoustic performance like these 2. After their band split up in 1989, they went through a bitter court battle in 1999 and had not spoken to each other for many years. Eventually over a pint in 2008, they buried the past and performed together again in 2009.

Handsome Hadley sounds even better today than he did 30 years ago.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNiI6-z9K-c

So c'mon Neal ............. c'mon Steve ................. do it for the fans. The coffee is brewing

A friend was looking at their website and starts screaming and jumping up/down...
and had TEARS running down her face.
Hell we didn't know what had happened..

When we asked what's wrong...
She says looking at us... it says "Steve will frisk you for security reasons, OMg can you imagine"?

We all looked at her , like what the hell...
Ok yea so we read the "fine print"..where it stated
"Winning bidder subject to security screening"...
& then busted a gut    at her..
(Yea a few spirits had been imbibed)..
Come Sunday we're leaving her in Cabo...

I hope this is true. That they got married.

Could this be what Steve alludes to in his FA post?

Where he said "My life was forever changed in ways I will explain at another time but it was all because of my Kellie."

We won't be releasing that info, but if the person who buys the auction wants to reveal themselves, there is nothing preventing them from doing that. They may want to keep it private, though.

Good for charity in Kellie's memory, no doubt. Both my parents, a sister, aunt had (forms of) this deadly disease. I would have traded money, if I was in that league, for a 'date' to have coffee and/or tea with SP. He seems nice, and very interesting. I'm happy he 'retired' because a person should, whenever they want to/can, and not have to make excuses. It's HIS life, for goodness sakes. Sure, he is famous, he is The Voice! Maybe I'll run into him at a coffee shop sometime, and just pick up the tab. I've given to charity over the years, millions have... my limited amount can only give hope at this point. Anyway, rock on, Stevie!
