Always nice when these guys (or any birthday person) can drop a note to let his fans know that he is thinking of them even on his "freakin amazingly spectacular singing on stage with AWB for the first time in years, Steve Ferrone, etc. and everyone and everything else" birthday. It just shows what a class act he still is even if it's another notch on the birthday register and he might not be looking forward to it but hey...what's the alternative??? Again, happiest of birthdays and what a great little message from a very talented birthday boy! Thanks Tater.

That's for sure. I think it's safe to say that we never would have picked his voice out in this song if we weren't told about it. The good thing is that he gave the artist a thrill by taking interest and making a contribution. This person can always tell the story that 'Steve Perry sang on my song.'
