Steve Perry handed out high fives at SF Giants parade

Postby MotherCitay » Sat Nov 01, 2014 9:40 am

Former Journey frontman Steve Perry handed out high fives at the San Francisco Giants parade. He told ABC7 News, "This was better than the other one, we gotta do this every year!"

I'm sure at the end of the parade ceremony, abc7 announced that Steve Perry and Train would perform. I saw Train .......... but what happened to Steve? Did he perform? Does anyone know?

Hot dang! What a marvelous journey for this man! He's having the time of his life! Parades! The World Series! The fans! It could not get any better than that! Hope he keeps it going into the fall and the rest of the year or forever! We don't always appreciate what we have until it's gone!

Great that he can get into all that World Series spirit and celebrate with the team! You always have to keep your eye on the float and hope it doesn't get too far ahead of you otherwise you'll be sprinting to catch up!

Love these posts. And love seeing Steve enjoying life. If his Kellie could see him, I am sure she would be smiling, watching his joy.

I watched the whole parade and ceremony at City Hall on TV ... almost 2 hrs. When I saw SP going up the street shaking hands/high 5'ing -- then running across to other side -- my motherly instinct thought "is he crazy??? at his age, bad hips and all..." ... Then, he caught up to a cable car and climbed in ... ... that guy has a lot of energy for an old man

:D :D
Marabelle....Happy Holidays over here on Andrews site <I;)
Only you would watch that video and be thinking ahead enough about a sprinting Steve playing catch up with that float...:)
It is delightful that Steve's love light is shining again after the recent loss of his loving partner Kellie. He deserves happiness,
and a great retirement from the music biz!! It's perfect that he attends the games and enjoys the game and the crowds...who
enjoy him as much!!! He is looking wonderfully healthy and fit:) He is marvelous, fantabulous, we love him and get a big
smile seeing him smile so big and breath in life so wide eyed again! A sweet demonstration of enthusiasm for his team... :D :D

Hey Fez, good hearing from you! Haha! Mr Perry seems to be having the time of his life! And yes I was thinking that he and Ms True Love were like Romeo and Juliet! Such a wonderful deep fulfilling love for those two! But time moves on and there he was with a broad smile and happiness spilling over! Hope he enters the New Year with love happily ever after!
