So sorry to hear this. Bought and loved his 2002 CD "Do It Again" so I bought "Soul Sessions" in 2003 and was so pleasantly surprised to find that Steve Perry sang on "Can't Let You Go". It really made an impression with me when, in one interview after his blindness in 2011, he could still say "Everything I do is a challenge and everything I do is a victory." He will be missed. My prayers are with his family.

Saw Jeff front table at the Bitter End NYC in the late 80's.
He had a great band playing 'Cool Jazz" What a guitarist!

Remember him walking off the stage at the end of the show.. me/buddies yelling his name while whooping it up a bit, He stopped & yelled right back at us..
