Another shelved project I assume. I wouldn't get to worked up over it.

From personal experience, that is BULLSHIT

Steve P and Steve S always complimented each other very well (listen to Sandcastles on Dream After Dream) and you'll know what I mean). This is definitely the most promising of all the rumored e-mails...fingers crossed that we'll hear something soon!

Where does it say he was recording with Smith? And, we all know he's been recording but we will never hear it. He writes, records and then nothing.

Dunno...you tell me, Columbo. I never said he was recording with Smith. Miller has worked with Smith in the past. He mentions it in the interview. Here's a video of the two playing together.

umm...actually, no. If you read it, "Someone of Smith's caliber and style" doesn't mean he was recording with Steve Smith---just someone of "equal" talent and a similar style. Perry's always been interested in motown drum patterns and feel since that is what his vocal is based on--so he's always going to be very picky on a drummer.

You're welcome. I'm somewhat confused about what the confusion was about. Hopefully, we're clear as mud now!

That's OK, bottom line. Even if he was actually recording with Steve Smith, which I get now that Art didn't say![]()
We would never hear it, so it doesn't matter.
