Define a "Loon" please :)

Hi folks

I am new to posting to the boards but not new to reading. I have been lurking around for sometime and feel like I already know many of you.

I see some often refer to some Steve Perry fans as "loons". I would like to get an exact definition of this so I can determine if I fall into the category.

I am a Perry fan and will always be. I would love to hear new music from Steve but if it's not meant to be then it's not meant to be.

I am also a mom of one 13 year old boy and live in the Dallas area (although I was born and raised in New Orleans and I bleed Black and Gold GO SAINTS!! ). No I did not root for the Rangers but it was not because of Steve. A friend got me hooked on the Giants a few years back

I tend to lean to the idea of levels of Loonism......there are the ones who love the voice and feel that Journey is not the same without Perry.

Then there are the ones who hide in the mans bushes, look through his trash and follow him to breakfast uninvited.
