That's the site where I found the link to MR. It's a good site, put together really well and easy to navigate through.

The webmistress has many Journey Force Newsletters available there that are very enjoyable. I loved the story about the Love Lounge, a Caddy that Steve got from his grandfather, that caught on fire while he was driving near Highland in Hollywood one day. He jumped out onto the sidewalk while the thing was burning up. Lora and Cyndy were fortunate enough to have had an opportunity to ride around L.A. in the Love Lounge with Steve before that fateful day.
 If anybody ever questions the relationship between Lora, Cyndy and Steve Perry, just go check out those newsletters and see his answers to their questions, some very personal questions that he was more than willing to answer for THEM. You can feel his trust of them in his answers. 8)

I don't want to rehash all the bad that this woman has done I could go on for a mile and half with stuff but to get members who became very good friends to hate each other all because she would log into people accounts and read their personal messages and then answer them as that member is not someone who is a fan but a hateful person. She did it to me many times over when I was a member there long ago. When members openly questioned why their passwords were not working and that they had to change them over and over the answer always was....the host forum is having problems with this; we are not the only board with this issue. Because of this one action those many members no longer will support Steve Perry or Journey and will never join anything Journey or Steve Perry related. I lost some great friends because of this. What an awful thing for a Steve Perry fan to do but turn his own fans to no longer support him and to hate each other. The woman needs to atone for her hateful actions. :(

I guess getting fans to hate each other is unbelievable dedication......oh please.....

I don't get why anyone would play games and lie so they can manipulate people. Tear apart friendships, running to them and spreading rummors to hurt and divide them, or hurt someone because they think differently. But some people do. People like this are monsters of the worst kind. Seems they reside at different sites. I see them as useless lumps who sit in front of a computer and destroy people because they are not happy. Sick people really. But they have to live with who they really are. Twisted monsters.

It seems that when people pull F**ed up stuff like this to others, they have no moral compass, and cannot understand why the world just won't do what he/she wants it to do. I don't believe she'll ever get it that she might be part of the problem (ok well all of it).

I've heard stuff regarding this person for years. Many many many many years. I steered clear. I was actually quite amazed how many people bought her lines year after year, but, obviously she was good at it, she was able to continue on after many many confrontations about things not being legit. Always a new stock of people who had no idea of the past kaka that had been slung about. There was always a huge rivalry between the site I was on and hers. Always big drama. People being booted left and right from hers with no explanation. It would have been laughable if it had not been so sick.

If those that were maligned want to seek out the law, it might be a good time. Bank records, PM transactions, etc.

Since she used her website to pull this fraud with MAWF, the outfit that hosts her site might be of assistance. I believe she was booted out of her own site once for hacking into another site and locking them out.

I don't post much on here but I did want to thank SPFIO for posting the link to my site. It has always been my goal to keep it respectful to Mr. Perry and to celebrate his amazing career. We do work very hard on it and try to keep the rumors and such out of it. As far as PV is concerned, there was never any love lost between us.

The USPFC site has/had a lot of good "archival material", but the forum was a little hard to take. Jasparina's site was good for "archival material", too. I suspect that most, if not all of Kathy's stuff came from one of those sites. She's been known to completely rip off posts from other sites and post them as her own.

The All Things Steve Perry site seems to have a pretty good forum as Steve Perry forums go.

True. That's one of the few I've enjoyed over the years.
The owner of that site is a guy, so it's not quite as loony as some of the others... and he's a really cool guy, btw.

I will tell you that it took me a while to want to join message boards again because I was afraid all this crap would happen again. The one thing that she couldn't take from me was the admiration and love for Steve's voice and music and my love of Journey.

I wouldn't guess he would ever do that again. I wasn't there, of course, and I don't know, but a friend of mine with knowledge of it said it was a disaster and that in the end, SP was not amused. I'm going by what was told to me by someone (fairly reliable) with knowledge, and I do not claim to have first-hand knowledge of what SP thought of it... but this wouldn't suprise me at all if it were true.

That day wasn't a disaster at all. I think Steve was not amused with a couple people's actions, but I think that had more to do with somethings that happened before and/or after that day. I've spoken with L&C a few times about it since, and regardless Steve did enjoy surprising his fans that day.

I know deb... no, I didn't meant the day itself... the way I heard it, it was one or two other things that were... kinda, um... .... but again, I'm going by what i was told, and although I've no reason to disbelieve the two sources, I wasn't there, of course, so I can't say anything for sure.

I know PV had closed it doors before and the gals got all up in arms about that and had her open another site where they all could go. This time there was no one upset about it. Alot of us emailed each other and we knew we would always find a way to be in contact with each other. Don't know about the rest but the small group I have been talking to is quite ok with it closeing and not upset at all. So if the owner of PV thinks at some point of reopening the forum and expecting any of us to "fall" back to the site. It isn't going to happen. They are all burned out with the drama of the forum.

As for other's I have my favs. Dom site is on I go to alot. Still looking around at the others. Not sure if I'll go join to many forums.

Yeah, what is up with that? PM means Private message. If you have no place to talk privately you feel violated. Not always will you agree with the moderator either. But for the moderator to spy on you is a bit 1994 Big Brother is watching you........kinda creepy!

There was many things on PV that were kinda, um... ....after the SP meet, so what you heard probably isn't far off. There was a lot of crap that went down after that I didn't agree with but didn't say too much (believe me, that is soooo not me  ) until she went after a good friend of mine (from Burbank, totally sweet person that opened her home to some of us that weekend) for agreeing with Lora. I sent K and the mods an email saying that I was leaving PV and why (the crap that was going down behind the scenes). Some other members left shortly after that too. I had a lot of emails from people asking me why (details) I left, and just didn't divulge. I didn't want to bad mouth, just wanted no part of it. Not long after that, I heard Lora got banned.

No need to be sorry! I am the same way. I tolerate no one that screws with my buds. I can attribute that to my status as a libra. Balance and diplomacy. I want things fair and equal, and that goes for people most of all.

The goal for Libra is to witness the importance of co-operation and harmony in human life. Libra is represented by a pair of scales - the only sign to be represented by an inanimate object. This says something about the Libra objective - to be fair and balanced in everything in a detached way - it is an air sign and therefore seeks an ideal. At its best, Libra can view complex situations, maybe emotionally highly charged ones, and come to a balanced view based on a fair consideration of all the options. However, it may take a while to come off the fence! Come down in favor of one side of the scales and the other side goes up and Libra always seeks to restore balance.

That is so me. I can't cope with one-sidedness. This is why I didn't work with a Pisces.

(Pisceans) are impractical dreamers, causing distress to people near them.

I like astrology for entertainment purposes. However, I do believe that people fit the traits of their sign most of the time. I'm a Gemini.

"Ruled by the planet Mercury, a Gemini is a bright, witty, entertaining individual, adaptable to all situations and circumstances. Gemini individuals have a lively and friendly nature. Having a happy temperament, they can be best defined as free souls. They have an optimistic outlook towards life and are sociable, imaginative and versatile, ready to take up new activities. A Gemini is a great story teller, having an aptitude to make life a little more appealing for everyone. Geminis are sometimes designated as egocentric and restless individuals, who might get unstable and unpredictable over certain issues. Curiosity is the driving force for a Gemini, who wants to satisfy his quest for knowledge. The thirst for learning new things and expressions is commonly noted in such an individual. Gemini individuals rarely get deeply involved in one particular task or interest. Their span of attention is very limited and they get diverted very easily. The most compatible sign for Gemini is Aquarius"

For the most part this is true of me.

I suspect that most, if not all of Kathy's stuff came from one of those sites. She's been known to completely rip off posts from other sites and post them as her own.

The All Things Steve Perry site seems to have a pretty good forum as Steve Perry forums go.

Nolippin - you can use those ironic quote marks all you like - but it just can't be denied: Kathy had an extraordinary collection of videos, clips and articles. Back in 2005 and 2006 no other site came close to offering the same depth of coverage. And a couple of years back she made her collection available to everyone on You Tube - and before that there was barely anything unusual or rare in the Journey material available.

Look...I haven't visited Perryville site for three years....and if people like Deb are saying it went strange then I have no doubt that it did. But in the end it's hard to care too much about the fluff of internet fan site politics. Most sites are off-key. One Steve Perry site was actually an evangelical Augeri site in disguise. And even the much respected CJ at BT had a long, rich history of banning people for the craziest reasons.

No, they didn't hack into private messages - but you know what? There is something called E-MAIL. Seems to me the pointless drama and intrigue of it all is just part of the fun.

I reckon the only charge against Kathy that is really worth taking seriously is the one that she kept the donations members made to the Make a Wish foundation. This is a very dark allegation and I see that some people are asking that she provides proof that this isn't true.

Fine - but what's the evidence that she did keep the money?

Yeah Pat, you keep kissing Lora and sending gifts to her@Fan Asylum!

I just don't believe your Perry's Palace site is so much different ....... as well as All Things Steve Perry site ....... Admins know but never tell you the truth. All I can say is wow to this thread ......

They overlooked her reading their private PV emails? I agree that is why they are private, no one should read them, just because you are ADMIN doesn't give you the right to look at others message. And as far as Perry's Palace, That place is a nice place, and you don't have to pay to go into the site or forum, I received an email from Kathy telling me that I had to pay. I ignored it and never went there. I am glad I didn't send her money. And yes FTLOSP is a great Perry site and it is kept clean.
