I don't either Gunbot. I never heard one single word that sounded like Perry and I heard it before news broke that it was JSS. I thought the voice surgery had changed the way he sounded completely. LOL

Andrew... I've got to stop you right there just to say that while I love Jeff's voice on the W.E.T. stuff, AND Talisman... He does NOT sound anything like Steve Perry. He ALSO sounds nothing like Freddy Mercury! I don't get why people think this, and I know you've got a good enough musical ear to hear the difference! If you're just saying that he sounded GOOD on those, then I apologize, but I get the impression you're saying he sounds (or sounded) like Perry. He sounds like neither... Just saying!

Jeff has his own style and presentation, absolutely. But he CAN sound just like SP and I've got the proof.

As for FM, I agree there is more a difference there - but JSS suits Queen better than Journey cause he has the same stage presence and commanding rock/soul vocal that FM had.

Andrew, I completely agree with you there. Queen should have totally brought Jeff on tour with them instead of Paul Rogers. In fact they did want Jeff but that's a whole 'nother can 'o worms that I can't open up.
