Rumors abound for sure regarding a new CD from Steve Perry. However, those rumors become more credible when someone like Randy Goodrum (songwriter for Foolish Heart and Oh Sherrie) says this on his official website biography, www.randygoodrum.com, then those rumors grow legs.

"Randy is currently writing new material for an upcoming project of Steve's as well. More on that later." 8)

Take it anyway you like, I'm only the messenger.

Why do you need rumors to grow legs? Perry said himself in the radio interview he was definitely working on new music. Tt came straight from the horse's mouth.

Yep, that's right. However, he didn't say he was working with Randy Goodrum. Randy's comments give us more information about the content of the project I think. i.e. (more legs).

So, that brings us to ~ what ~ a "spider-level" rumor...?

     I'm sure with this group's talent with photoshop, and LLL's talent with moving objects, this thread could take on a life of its own in short order.
Let the games begin.

That article was in very small print. Did it really say that Steve Perry released a new solo album in the spring of 2009? Did I sleep thru this release?

I wondered about that too, but assumed he was writing about the Very Best of Steve Perry Greatest album that came out in January of 2009. That information provided a date to give his next sentence context. I was focused on the new material Randy wrote about in his bio.
