I'm starting to think that "Laydee" is full of shit. Either that or report this sick fuck to the local psych ward, but quit boring us with this farcical bullshit. I think you or someone else is pulling our leg.

Reading all this is beyond creepy! Whatever happened to wackjobs just believing they were Jesus/God/the antichrist? (actually had a brother-in-law (deceased) many years ago believe he was all three - freaky shit. He even wrote rambling letters regarding Revelations to the President & sent me copies!)

LLL, you are priceless!

As for the stalker, Laydee.... KDOUBLEU is a cop. I'm sure if you PM him he will be able to steer you in the right direction. Whatever you do, don't delete any phone messages you have from her. You may need them later on.

Well, believe me or not, I don't give a shit. But I have talked to the local police department and I'm going in tomorrow and taking my phone with the messages on it to give to the detective. I'll get a restraining order and hopefully that will be the end of it. At least I know where she lives which is about 30 miles from me. So that should help them. The more info I have for them the better. I'll let y'all know what they have to say about it.

SP Fan in Oregon wrote:Laydee, in most States it is a misdemeanor called telephonic harassment, when someone calls you on the telephone after you
have received their call and told them not to call you ever again. The crime is committed when they call again after you have told
them not to call you. So, if you have made it clear to this person that her call is unwanted and to not call again and she calls you again,
you can call your local police and report the crime. The phone company can put a trap on your line at the request of the police to catch
the phone call coming in which provides the evidence for prosecuting the caller. You do not have to put up with repeated unwanted calls
to your phone from this person. You do not have to change your phone number. It seems like this person believes you have the ability
to help her get to Perry, so I agree with the comments about making sure that your site members know that you have no way to contact
Perry and/or Perry friends and are simply a fan with a great website. You should also not have any personal contact information on your
website, even if it means spending money to get a P.O. Box. This wacko may escalate her interest in you when you withdraw from her.
She may transfer her attention to Perry himself, but I suspect Perry's camp will protect him. Fans who want to meet Perry or
who meet Perry and are respectful when they do are not in the same frame of mind as a stalker. A stalker lives in a delusional world of mental illness
and loss of reality, and are usually very dangerous, with repeated unwanted contact with the person of their desire.
If what the stalker does is shocking to the reasonable person, it is likely stalking and not just zealous fan behavior. A reasonable person is a person with average sensibilities, not some of the MR people who thinks any interest in Perry is stalking. Your obsessed caller sounds like a stalker to me. :(

I thought it was YOU that she was talking about!   Just messing with you.

Yeah right........   After 7 fucking years of college and 14 years of building a successful law practice, I can't believe
you would think I'd throw it all away by Perry stalking. Unlike this stalker Laydee is writing about, I got a life and reputation worth preserving.
Being excited about Perry, Perry pictures, Perry news, and appreciating the man, his music, his career is very far away from showing up on his front door step. One is appropriate behavior for a fan, the other is certainly not. Most normal people know the difference. Stalkers don't know the difference.
Besides I'm busy "stalking" another man (younger and more beautiful) at the moment, who I'm going to see this weekend...........

ONLY 30 Miles from you??????????????

I thought you said before that this person lived in another State and would have a hard time getting to you?

Is this a different crazy?

Right. Now, I know I give the hardcore loons crap about analyzing every piece of clothing and every word he says, etc. - and for the most part, I'm really just busting chops. The googling his name to see if he's mentioned or searching twitter or whatever goes on - that's all beyond me and it's a little more obsessed than I personally care to be, and yes I've made fun of it - (alot) - this behavior, as long as it stays confined to just searching pictures and drooling over videos, isn't harming anyone.

This is a whole different kind of obsession and it's one that is scary and should be dealt with.

I've actually had people PM me on the Perry site and ask me to have him email them.

Um... yeah... :? I'll get right on it. For some reason, people think I know him or have this kind of power. One woman BEGGED me.

From the SCARY PERRY stories you know about, I can see why you are sensitive to this subject. No one has ever called me up 6 times in a day (like poor Laydee has experienced) or written to me "begging"
for my help to meet Perry (like you have experienced). Let it be known by all those crazy Mrs. Perry wanna be's out there, that I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTACT INFORMATION FOR STEVE PERRY!!!!!

Yeah, but in Perry's case he hasn't signed on for anything in quite a number of years. Isn't there some sort of expiration date, or statute of limitations on this sort of thing?? If a guy hasn't sung a note, hummed a little ditty, or even so much as whistled a catchy tune in public in damn near 15 years, doesn't he get some sort of exemption from bat sh!t crazy stalker psychos...er sumptin' like that???

Well, so I saved her message, this time. She also went on to say that her love for Steve was stronger than anything else in this world and that God will bring them together either in this life or the next. She told me that she will not be shamed for her love for him and she will be with him, one way or another.

I thought about what SPFO had said, but I have decided to just block the damn phone number from my phone. So if she wants to talk about it she can come to me here and say whatever her little heart desires too. I am not putting up with her ass. I have more important things to do than to worry about how she is going to become Mrs. Perry.

I could go on and on and tell some more of the crazy shit she has said on the matter, but I'm not giving her the satisfaction. I think she is getting off on me writing about her here. So, the one that remains nameless, did you get that? I'm not giving in and your blocked from calling me ever again. So now what? It's your move! Sorry people, I've had enough, next time I am going to send Saint John your phone number and see how you like that!

OH yes send Saint John............she won't know what hit her...and maybe Deano can ride shotgun!!!

If that prospect doesn't scare her off, nothing will! Seriously, good for you Laydee in reporting this to the police. She may be harmless, but it's better to be safe and go on the offensive. Take care.

That's false. I happen to have it on very good authority that he whistled a catchy tune at a truckstop near Bakersfield about a month and a half ago. There's also been a rumor that he hummed half of a ditty while walking through Disneyland in September of 2007, but I don't believe that one. I read it on Twitter when I searched for "Steve Perry Humming in Public". :?
