Hey ya'll, I am very happy to be joining the crazy house since I live in a zoo. I am from a very small town in East TN about thirty miles from Knoxville. Now I live in Southern Middle TN about an hour from Chattanooga and Murfreesboro. Close to the University of the South or Sewanee as we call it. As for the pic, it is obvious that Steve is either in pain or doesn't want to be there or both. I just couldn't figure why whoever chose that picture would. It is TERRIBLE. And for me thinking you all were music experts, this is where the ADD figures in. I thought the titles that came with the avatars were actual jobs! Still, I have read a lot of posts and found a lot a good info and pics here. Seems like a good group. Thanks for the welcome.

I was laughing but I realized when I used to lurk I thought at first there were studio engineers on here and such, too, and that others just made up stuff like certifiably insane as a title. So I can't laugh at you about that.

Steve looks so sad and pained compared to the rest of the group.

The anxiety and guilt leading up to what he was about to do had to be killing him. At the very least it shows that he had some sort of conscience.

Probably the pain and torture they inflicted on him for many years were being felt.

I went AWOL from a summer job one night in '91 to see Bryan Adams when he came to my little hometown in the mountains and played an outdoor concert. My boss pulled a fast one and there was no way I was missing it, so I closed up early and didn't say anything - I figured if she found out and fired me, I only had 2 more weeks before I was back to college. Never did that before or after, but it was Bryan Adams!

I love Classic Rock too - I'm glad I was born in the 70s, because I can't imagine having the music of today as the soundtrack of my youth.

No formal for me. I don't remember much, but, I was told I had a great time. I was born in the mid 1960's but I was very lucky my brother is ten years older and listened to some great rock . He has a huge vinyl collection. He saved me from Donny Osmond and Shaun Cassidy. I like a little bit of the new stuff, not much cause I am always listening to old stuff and don't know any of it. In the early '90's I got hooked on Stone Temple Pilots. I said music from the '60s '70's and '80's, but, I like music period. Not a big fan of rap or metal, though. Journey with Steve Perry is always my go to music for a pick me up. Baby we were born to run!

Unless he/they wanted everyone to know how he felt and we would figure it out by the pic. Do you think the VH1 interviews were a lot of hooey? I thought that it was Steve's way of breaking with the band and maybe people would "hate" him for leaving so the remaining members could continue and make money as Journey and his fans would follow him instead. I am a huge skeptic about a lot of stuff. You sure can't fix stupid and you can't make sense out of nonsense. Maybe my theories are nonsense. What do you think?
