Well, still no sight of Steve here in NJ. :?

Even tough Andrew informed me that Steve had just stopped by Capital records
and was not recording his new CD, for us the faithful ones. (Bumer)

I can only hope that he is busy at home getting ready for this year's new
Baseball season.

I bet he is dusting off his SF Gaints cap and filling up his backpack
for opening day!!! :D :D :D

Good for you Steve!!! 8)
Enjoy yourself!!! :)
You deserve to be doing what you love!!! :D

You already gave us faithful ones so much of yourself though your music!!!
If we ever hear any new music from him that would be a bonus and a blessing for all. :)

So Steve, be happy, stay healthy, enjoy the games and maybe stop by in Jersey sometime!!! OK?
Love Ya!!

Peace.

I like your optimism. Juxtaposed against Andrew's steadfast, unwavering "THERE WILL BE NO NEW RELEASE", it would be cool to see him weigh in on this thread. lol

No CD.

Thanks Andrew  That is just so sad  But we all have some wonderful music from him & with journey. :D

Who cares how much money he has? He wants to sing and perform, but can't. I bet he'd trade all of that money in to be able to sing and perform again. He doesn't seem to live the type of life that necessitates a shitload of money, so what's the point whether he has 1 million or 200 million? :? The guy misses performing terribly and has admitted as much. Doing what you love will always be more important than money, and I think that rings true here. And as far as "the very smart businessman" part goes ... I think it was simply more of a case of not spending any money than it was being a business guru. After all, he initiated the liquidation of Journey's assets and that included his and most of the others' share in Nocturne ... and that was really fucking dumb. Neal, luckily, had Herbie to talk him out of that.

The guy was always ugly. The vocals were the part that the majority of women felt attracted to.
Without the voice, he simply comes across as another SoCal beaner serving up Carne asada at the counter.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I certainly would never call him ugly! :D

I did tell a guy I dated a while back that I thought he looked like Steve Perry. I meant it as a compliment, but I don't know if he took it that way. :o

Those tight pants were very common back then and we loved the men to wear them like that. Good eye candy. Aren't woman allowed to look at men the way men look at women?? Most women today hate the baggy pants men wear now. Nothing to look at!! I may be 65 and married for 46 years, but I still look at other men and my husband still looks at other women!! The women didn't like the baggy pants that Steve was wearing at the WS, but we love him anyway!!!!

I swear there was a recent revision to women's jeans to make something less revealing. Back in the day, there was really something to see.
