I am sorry for my early exuberance at 2:00am this morning. But as far as going overboard........I think those of us who have hoped he will some day sing again this will be Christmas no matter what time of the year. I think it is fine to be excited that we will get to hear him again.

I'm a happy camper b/c Perry, essentially, has wanted to be a solo artist since '87 and so I'm glad he can express himself by putting out another solo album in his career and we fans finally get to hear his amazing voice, even if he doesn't tour. I would kill for a DVD of one performance, though, of Steve performing as part of the package. Steve, are ya' listening? Oh, to dream.

Re Neal and Jon, Deen and Ross, I'm so happy they were able to carry on since '96 and do what they love best, first with Steve Augeri and now Arnel. They are in a great place also and rocking it out live and putting out new music. I love these guys. I'm really looking forward to the DVD of their spring concert.

So for this Journey/Neal/Perry fan life is sweet for 2009 and looking oh so bright for 2010.
