I wish I wish :)

Last lead vocal I hear from Steve was a 2004 demo.

Okay... we're WAITING!!! What was is, what type of song, what were the quality of the vocals, etc...! :D And BTW, I LOVE the sound of that song. WET is going to rock, and I think a lot of that has to do with Robert's songwriting. He is a genius, and I hope we work on more tunes in the future! I'm not taking anything away from Jeff's writing, but I think a lot of this is coming from Robert. November is too damn long to wait!!! :x

You can be the best songwriter in the world, but you need some killer vocals to actually pull a song off.

Jeff DOES sound great, and I'm not trying to take anything away from him. I'm just saying that I believe Robert to be the man behind the curtain here. It oozes with his style and touch. I'm also excited to hear the new Work Of Art album in the works. I think it's definitely going to impress!

I think we've all learned that it takes both a great songwriter and a great singer to make magic. One without the other is just... mediocre, IMO. Sounds like the creme de la' creme with these clips, though, so I'm stoked!!! 8)

Both were Soto. I knows my vocalists.

Are you serious? :o

Ok, the first clip punk'd me a little. I admit. Damn youse!

That's why I would have loved to have heard at least one JSS/Journey album.

Erik from Eclipse is probably the main writer, with JSS and Robert.

I thought Andrew was demoing a Scandinavian group like the Northern Kings. When I actually read the comments, I was shocked that it might be SP.

Okay Andrew that was just mean!! I listened to both clips about 5 times each and said OMG that ain't Perry singing unless that vocal cord surgery totally changed his voice!! Music was great but sounded nothing at all like Stevie.

NOW BRING ME A STEVIE CLIP please!! :D :D :D :D :D
Come back Steve Perry!!

I have to admit, I haven't been that impressed with JSS, but this sounded great! I look forward to hearing more. Maybe I'll become a new convert. :D

 Happens to the best of us. :P All most people know is the rocker sides, but I hear a lot of Perry's soulful delivery in Soto and Martin. :D I converted Michigan Girl (a fellow diehard Perryite  ) with this one :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1uari8MZe0

Hey - if I talk, my life could be in danger.

But he sounded great to these ears and was much in the same range as FTLOSM. They were guest leads for another songwriter, but sounded great.
