Rumor? You denied Steve himself said.

A leak...any leak of any clip would at least help douse the doubts.

A whole song was played at the annual Journey UK fans convention last weekend, to great applause i might add. Hows that? :D :D :D

BAM....................boozle!!!

He said "a whole song". I'm sure a lot of "whole songs" were played if it was a Journey convention. He never said it was a Steve Perry song.

Do we have a title? Or anything other than a random claim? Just asking.
Give us some real proof and maybe I'll believe it... Maybe....

As was said above a NEW Steve Perry track was played at the convention which was a big surprise.Good on yer Mr DJ for playing it.

I have always thought that it would be sometime this year or hopefully soon next year. I've also learned to trust Andrew for anything official that might happen. I'm not saying you didn't hear it and would be glad that you did. I just want to know if Andrew knows about this.

You have to realize that what you said is a pretty big piece of news. Can you describe more about the song that you heard? Similar to what sound? Later Journey, later solo stuff or what?

No. I heard all about it. Perry decided to debut, his new song at, of all places, this small UK Journey convention that is very supportive of Journey present day and Augeri days. I was told not to say anything.

I was being sarcastic that it was chosen to be heard over there of all places. My comment was not to be taken seriously.

I guess not. Thought people would get me poking fun at the supposed info re Perry chosing to debut his song at a small convention in the UK who enjoyed the other singers too. I guess a few loons on here got it, b/c I got several pms from some Loon friends teasing me that I think I'm funny.

I don't fucking know, but speaking of tunnels..I was in the tunnel where Journey took the pictures for the back of the TBF album when I was in San Francisco earlier this month. It was pretty gay. I did like the golden Gate Bridge, though. But they lick my ass for charging $6 to come back across it!

"For the first couple of hours, our regular, reknown DJ Stevie E soon had a few Journey tracks blaring out, together with rare unreleased songs and unseen video footage, this man is a genius."

Is this what they are talking about? Was on the UK site where they were talking about the convention. I took it to mean older music.

OK, glad i now understand this was another hoax and nothing more. Im sure the song someone heard was more than likely Barry White singing his rendition of LA Woman.

I cannot explain to you how painful hip replacement surgery is except to ask you to imagine an internal amputation where they cut out your bones, then put the new hip parts in, and, in my case let the remaining old bone grow onto the new parts, which took 2 months before I was allowed to weight bare. I was in agony for at least 4-5 weeks. I had this done 4 years ago at 46, and it's already causing me some problems. I have been told I will have to have at least 2 more of these operations because hips only last so long in active people. As a sidenote, I am a recovering addict, and having to go back on the heavy painkillers for this issue was very dicey. I had to be very honest with myself everytime I took a pill, that I was taking it for the right reasons. Fortunately I have a good program, as I attend Narcotics Anonymous, as was able to not get lost in active addiction. This might be an option for your uncle, as alot of people don't know about NA-I didn't. The program deals with all kinds of addictions, including alcohol. My prayers are with your uncle, that he may get clean some day.

Cheeky i am so sorry you have had so many problems hon.I hope and pray i don't have to have it done again. My Dr told me he wanted it to last.It is not fun when you hurt like hell before you have it done.I had to go to work for 8 hours a day.If anyone wants to know what the surgery is like? You can watch it being done not sure where it's at tho.I do not want to see it.I agrre my prayes go out to you & Steve's uncle. If you will please let me know who you are doing Cheeky.

Good question! I had hip replacement surgery in April -09-09 Doing just fine don't need the meds anymore. It was my left hip i think that was the one Steve had to have replaced too.

Glad to hear all is going well. Did they cement yours in, or did it have to attach to the new pieces? My hip was doing well till about a month ago, then the clicking started, which other people can hear, it's really gross.

It was cement in your's was a total hip also right?I know that is not fun at all.You are in my prayers. We know know it feels.

Mine was not cement, and it was a total replacement.
