80% of the guys didn't looked happy to me in this photo...(maybe TBF was done to complete the original twenty year contract with Columbia/Sony)JMO.. now they're free to do as they please... Perry retired,Smith doing his jazz thing and the other three guys doing the Journey thing( with whomever they want to do it with) it's all good. ....this is just my opinion related to body lanuage of the people in the picture...Perry doesn't look happy and not feeling like part of the band ( ok , I just had to go there. ) Smith, looks like he has somewhere else to be... No, you read everyone right, but Neal. He looks all peaceful and zen in that photo, like he was contemplating the great tour that was going to follow and what a great year that it was going to be.

Did you all notice they seem to be standing in a tunnel (see the overhead lights), rounded concrete? I think Perry is
talking to the homeless guy to his left and feeling sympathy for him, thus the sad look on his face. The three in the middle are
looking at someone driving up in a car to ask them all what the hell they are doing standing in the tunnel and the last guy
is looking at the light at the end of the tunnel thinking about a quick escape.

I think the "tunnel" represents a mother's "womb" & they are gathered on that platform together in peace & harmony in order to contemplate the meaning of life & why each of us are here on this earth in the first place, thus explaining Perry's haunting & pensive mood.

Yeah SPFIO was right it was for Halloween.... Peartree, I love your avatar. It was either Johnny Depp or Sammy Hagar for mine this time. So I picked Depp since I just bought a copy of 'Once Upon A Time In Mexico' and brought a first date over to watch it. I've been going through a Johnny Depp, Sammy Hagar and OLD Bon Jovi phase here lately. I had no idea the CD These Days really had all these great tunes on it until I decided to buy it for one song ('Something For The Pain' ), which was on sale for 1.99) and WOW... The new stuff is okay but I like the classics.

I loved that movie with Depp. I think the whole movie was filmed in 6 days with hand held cameras. Depp loved making that movie with his friend (producer) Rodriquez who also did all the editing in his home studio. Johnny wrote the tune for his last scene.

Not a thing Laydee. Sounds like you are passionate about this subject. I don't have an opinion about their "feud" because I wasn't there and I don't know anything about it. All I know is I like the music, I hated that Steve would no longer be with Journey. I haven't been able to listen to Journey with the new frontmen, but, I wish them all the best. I didn't for a long time. I was pissed about Steve, the hip, etc. I am past that. I was joking about Neal because I am a smartass, but, better to be a smartass than a dumbass. By the way, I like your pic. I am glad that was for Halloween. I was concerned.

Thank you. Love your new avatar!!!! Love that man. He has skin that looks like tanned velvet on his face, arms, neck and chest. FLAWLESS (I haven't seen the rest of his body) Believe it or not, he is more beautiful in person than in his pictures. He is very humble, and an old fashioned gentleman, from Owensboro, Kentucky. Hi Sherriberry, I like all kinds of music. Bruce is always a fave. I like Bryan Adams in the "80s. I don't know much about him now. I tend to listen to a lot of "classic rock". Steve Perry and Journey of course. But, I like The Beatles, Warren Zevon, Nilsson, The Doors, The Who, Deep Purple, The Guess Who, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin. Hell, name a band from the 60's, 70's and 80's and I probably like them. Or at least something that they perform. Oh yeah, Steely Dan and can't for get Boz Scaggs.
