Guess we can believe Randy Jackson when he says he saw Steve a few years ago and "he still had that golden voice".

You lucky devil.....Andrew.

QUICK...somebody get a recorder....hurry... :) LOL

Personally I would have liked if he sang 'easy to fall' from that album.
Nothing wrong with 'trial by fire' though.

Has anyone heard from JSS on his reaction to Perry's comments about him?

I know this is gonna sound kinda crazy, but how do we actually know that was the man himself (Steve Perry). I'm not so sure it was after reading through some of the answers to some of the outstanding questions. And i'm not alone on this one either as others have cemented there opinions as well.
It seems odd to me Perry would build a corner of his house to set up a drum set (kit) and record on a computer. He needs all that room and space i would think for those 50-plus songs he written and recorded through the years.
And also give Neil props for anything is what struck me the most. Neil has called him out so many times. (Steve, " your a F-stupid ass B_____d", and a lousy washed up singer, ") through the years. That's something coming from a very below average guitarist of any circle. I'm more inclined to believe that may have been an imposter. Possibly Chris Allen or maybe Scotty McCreery remembering their pre-idol days.

Batshit crazy is what I would say.

But seeing that I've got everyone fooled, stay tuned next week for my interviews with Elvis, Ronnie Dio and Eddie Van Halen's third cousin (by marriage).

How does it feel to be among the very chosen few that have had the honor of hearing Steve Perry sing a few bars? Your status in the music business has to have gone up many notches among your peers. And to have an invite to hear the "Famous Fifty?" You have to make this happen.

Hey Andrew, I'll be in California at the end of the month, if you want I can be your courier for the copies... just let Steve know I'll be dropping by and I'll use my frequent flyer points to detour via Hobart on my way home in January. No problem, you can buy me a coffee as a thank you. 8)
