You are so right, Ginger. Emily is a daddy's girl. Her mother doesn't play with her very often. She usually sits her in front of the TV or gives her a coloring book & crayons. To Emily it's a big treat when she gets to spend some time with me b/c I'll play barbie dolls with her. She especially likes when I make them talk b/c I'll use different voices for the different dolls. That makes her giggle which makes my heart burst with joy.artist4perry wrote:My Dad is my hero.
I wish I could say the same. Don't get me wrong. I love my dad. I never miss a Father's Day, birthday, Christmas & so forth. I always visit & bring him a gift, but he does the same dramatic exit every time. He goes into the den & shuts the door refusing whatever I bring him & refusing to come out until I leave. And so I visit with my mom. She loves me unconditionally.
Ok, I've derailed this thread enough. I'll let you ladies have it back now. Sorry.

I guess $6.00 isn't a lot, but I don't recall ever paying to post on a board. I hope the admin was appreciative to those ppl who did pay to be a part of her board. So if she banned someone she should have refunded their $6.00 right? Doubtful right?
Wait - why didn't I think of that? LMAO JK.

I joined when it didn't cost anything to post. When she reopened it the last time that's when she began charging us the money. The $6.00 sounds about right. As for refunding that to us. She should do now since she shut the thing down. That's never going to happen either. She took but will never give back.

My dad hasn't spoken to me in 6 years other than to call me names or an occasional slap across the face. Ginger, no hard feelings. It's just that reading your post made me think of my friends teasing me if they visit unannounced & it happens to be at a time when I'm up to my elbows in scrubbing the oven or something. I tell them "The maid called in sick." They know I'm joking, of course.

I thank you for the compliment, but I take it you're new here. Wife? I'm not married. I live alone & I'm not in a relationship at the moment. I have a 5-year old daughter from a heterosexual relationship that ended this past March. I'm bisexual.
I hope you'll still be willing to talk to me after reading that. I don't have cooties. Honest.

Thanks. I come by that by having and Uncle who had polio when he was a year old and for the rest of his life had life long effects from it. Yes, I notice that people are different. But, in the long run it's no big deal to me. After all, I'm over 300lbs at the moment. Who am I to judge someone. I'm by no means perfect. Nor, Elizabeth Taylor beautiful.

I keep thinking of that old saw "pretty is as pretty does" or "handsome is as handsome does".
As for K and Perryville, it seems she had enablers...bet when someone tried to out her another would come on and say she's a good/sweet person, kindhearted, etc. However, ultimately, they didn't come into your home and force people to donate, did they? $40 bucks is definitely too high for any T-shirt IMO...sorry not gonna buy it! I donated $5 once on another site and I'm pretty sure the Save The Music people got my donation...got mail from Save The Music for a couple of years after that.

Dear Kathy,
Sorry about that, the pics are gone! ( But you really need to do something about them being all over the internet, because I have several people sending them to me to add to my site. May I suggest watermarking them!) As for the link, if you want to post my link on your page, then I will be more than happy to do the same for Perryville. Just let me know.
Sincerely,
Louise

Hey There!
I was checking your new website, nice btw. I saw that ALL if my Perryville pics were on it. We agreed months back that it was okay to post a few and then provide a link to Perryville. Sadly, this was not repsected. I'd like ALL the 2006 pictures with Steve taken off your site. In your related links I don't see Perryville as listed.
Respectfully,
Kathy
