You are so right, Ginger. Emily is a daddy's girl. Her mother doesn't play with her very often. She usually sits her in front of the TV or gives her a coloring book & crayons. To Emily it's a big treat when she gets to spend some time with me b/c I'll play barbie dolls with her. She especially likes when I make them talk b/c I'll use different voices for the different dolls. That makes her giggle which makes my heart burst with joy.

My Dad is my hero.

I wish I could say the same. Don't get me wrong. I love my dad. I never miss a Father's Day, birthday, Christmas & so forth. I always visit & bring him a gift, but he does the same dramatic exit every time. He goes into the den & shuts the door refusing whatever I bring him & refusing to come out until I leave. And so I visit with my mom. She loves me unconditionally.

There was a yearly charge to be able to post on her message board. For $6.00 a year you could post and be apart of the site. It was said the $6.00 helped with the cost of running the site.

I guess $6.00 isn't a lot, but I don't recall ever paying to post on a board. I hope the admin was appreciative to those ppl who did pay to be a part of her board. So if she banned someone she should have refunded their $6.00 right? Doubtful right?

It's really a shame just how many people got taken, got hurt, lost friends, etc. because of that site and it's operator(s?). I'm really glad I got kicked out after only a few visits!! What's more of a shame is those (if there are any) who are still drinking the kool-aid. I haven't been around these sites as long as a lot of other people, so I can only go personally by my limited interaction with that place, but I have a number of friends who unfortunately had more dealings there a number of years ago and it's just awful the kind of things that they've told me, ALL of which have been corroborated by many of you here in this thread.

I mean stealing money, lying to people left right and center, reading others' private messages, starting intense drama over f**king youtube videos and PICTURES?!

You know... I've been a mod/admin on a site to help out a friend who doesn't have much time for it at the moment, and because of the whole reading PMs issue on PV, those people started to think everyone was doing it, and *I* got accused of it at least twice. That's the kind of distrust that has been created - a lot of the people who have been burned by that site came away thinking that others do it too.

For one thing, I'm not a scumbag and would NEVER do a thing like that, and for another, I wouldn't even know HOW! At least on the forum software I'm familiar with, I've never seen any kind of anything that would allow us to read peoples' messages... not that we would... but I've never seen a way to do it, so whatever she was doing to get in there and do that, I don't know. My guess would be something to do with passwords.... I dunno.

YIPPEE!!! You don't hate me. I'm always worried about "meeting" new people on here b/c some react ok & others treat me like one of those Biblical lepers. So, you're afraid of Don Deano, The Godfather, huh? I know I'm supposed to be afraid of him, but I'm not. So far he has been fairly decent to me (at least until he stumbles upon this post & reads what I'm writing & decides to "teach me a lesson" by laying the smackdown on me) --- but I'm just saying. There are a couple of others on this board that I've learned to stay away from. One person in particular comes to mind, so I stay away from him.

It was nice to "meet" you. Good luck with those teens you're going to chaperone. I'm not looking forward to my daughters teen years & all the events she'll want to attend b/c I know I'll be one of those dads hiding in the bushes making sure none of the boys try to kiss her, or I'll be driving three car lengths behind spying on wherever she's going & making sure she's always safe. Thanks. I come by that by having and Uncle who had polio when he was a year old and for the rest of his life had life long effects from it. Yes, I notice that people are different. But, in the long run it's no big deal to me. After all, I'm over 300lbs at the moment. Who am I to judge someone. I'm by no means perfect. Nor, Elizabeth Taylor beautiful.

I wonder why this Kathy thinks she has the right to tell you what you can post on your site? Since she doesn't have Perryville anymore, you shouldn't be under any obligation to post her link on your site.
From everything that has been said about her antics and misappropriation of donated dollars, her credibility is very low in the eyes of Perry followers. On the other hand YOUR credibility Laydee is good with everyone and we all like your new website. I say post the 2006 pics back up there unless she can demonstrate she has some ownership right in them.

A quick question re: the photos from the 2006 date. Were the pictures personally taken by Kathy and her camera? If that is the case, she does have ownership. She should have, however, stipulated back then that they could not be posted anywhere else.

If they were taken by other people, she's got nothing to say about it. As they are already out on a free medium with no protection (think corbis as to what she should have done with them to keep them proprietary), I'm pretty sure they are now fair game.
