Some are asking legitment question. If you view that as bashing, that's your view. Not mine. For me, I wanted a tee shirt. I could have cared less where the extra money went to. It could have gone to the local dog pound for all I cared. As for the price of a tee shirt. When I have been on vacations some of the prices on tee shirts that I've seen are just about as expensive. All in all, we really are a quiet bunch of loons. But we will fight if we have to. So far Andrew hasn't had any problems with us and we aim to keep it that way.

Doesn't have to be 200 people calling the person in MAWF. Could be one. One designated person from the group of people who have questions. If it's legit, then let it be known. Otherwise, it is still questionable.

I've been privy to a lot of people's complaints regarding this person over the course of about a decade. In all the years I have heard about dealings with her, the same theme over and over and over...

and over....


There has always been way too many questions. And when you questioned, you got banned. Things said and done by her that were not appropriate. LB comes to mind as a prime example.

Once, sure...anyone can make A mistake. But I'm talking YEARS of claims from multiple, different people. Not the same group over and over. Brand new people with usually no clue of the past indiscretions. From Gini at the Unofficial site (K wanted to sell stuff through the site, Gini said no), to the one that got hacked into, to the 3 or 4 shut downs, always with a new bunch of scorned former members yelling & screaming.

So... like the fable about the boy who cried wolf, I CAN'T take anything that K does at face value. It almost demands to be questioned. This many people over the years... kinda hard to believe that every single one of them made it all up over one person. Common sense kicks in.

So again re: MAWF... Let her come up with the name. Have her give it to the person who approached MAW in the first place. Really very simple. The rest is solved in a nanosecond after that. Because if it's legit, then everyone can move on. Apologies can be made. What better way to clear herself. Keeping it hidden only solidifies the suspicions. Again, just a suggestion.

As far as the shirts go.... I can place an order today for a multitude of shirts by sending the logo over via computer and have them in a day or two and at about $20/ shirt. $40... c'mon. Uh uh. She blew it on that one. She owes more than just the shirts. She owes amends. Direct amends. Banning the questioners (a common occurence) and shutting down her site is not adult behavior.

No one should ever have to pay anything for a donation as a mandatory fee. That is just unbelievably ridiculous. It doesn't matter that it's for MAWF. Donations are a mandatory issue to begin with. Tax deductible. I noted the receipt in the picture had K's name on it. Does she benefit from the tax deduction? Did the people paying get a receipt with which to submit for Their Taxes?

Pictures... don't even start on that. PMs... anyway, the list goes on and on for the alleged offenses. So... amends are due. Too many people pointing at the wolf and yelling it's a wolf cause it's eating the damn lambs.

Even separate from the MAWF issue... there are amends to be made. Huge amends. To a shitload of people. Start with that, and then maybe people won't be so damn angry. Enough said by me.

Rebecca, just a question. Note however, I don't believe you'd have the answer to it, it's more a question out to everyone.

I noticed that the name of the MAW manager is whited out. Why? Certainly, there will be those that would want to confirm the legitimacy of that letter directly with that person, especially if those in question felt that their funds were not allocated properly. So now we have one employee saying one thing, and this letter indicating the opposite. I'm was not a member over at PV, but there seem to be quite a few here as of late. Perhaps they would want to contact that particular person who typed out this note.

Without the name, the note loses credibility in my opinion. It's rather easy to take former letterhead, and copy information onto it. I used to use graphics from one event for other events, and would copy the letter head portion, and put new information at the bottom. Saved time prior to computer savvy programs.

I'm not saying that's what's happened here, but without a name at the bottom, someone that could be contacted, the letter is less credible. Bottom line, if there's nothing to hide, ... there's nothing to hide. JMHO.

I know the mans name....he is legit. I don't know what else to say at this point. Kathy has proved the MAW alegations are false as she was asked to do and what has her accuser done but post heresay. But, say for the sake of your request, Kathy left the mans name readable. UMMMMMMM 200 calls to MAW clogging up their lines...not cool. I already figured this would be an issue. IT is what it is , if you can't take what you see for it's face value...short of setting up a lunch with the guy...it's just going to have to be what it is.

Ok... might be worth a call. So to clarify, what is supposed to have been the donation amount (versus what was actually donated if that part is legit)? From what I'm seeing there was a $3000 donation made in a two year period (2007 - 2009). That boils down to $125 collected a month, at a cost of $0.50/member a month ($6 fee for the year as previously mentioned). That would mean 250 active members to make up the $3000. Or did other funds go into the MAWF fund? How many active members were part of PV? If it's 500 active, then there is a problem.
