The sad thing is Lora, that there are others who believed KN and her stories about her relationship with you and Steve. These are the people that left with a "bad taste" in their mouths for SP. Like I have said before, you only have a small amount of knowledge of what went on there due to what she ALLOWED you to see. Fact is, she did just as much damage to your name as she did SP's.
As for your victim statement, when you pay for something, you expect to see it. When you donate money to a charity, you are donating to help those in need. This didnt happen. The people who donated and the charities ARE the victims. To say they are not is a shame.
Funny, no one seems to want to answer a question I have asked several times. This time I will highlight it and perhaps it might get answered.
Did KN have the licence/authority/permission of Steve Perry, his attorneys or agents to manufacture or sell anything with Steve Perry's name/face/likeness?
Perhaps this is a question that makes some uncomfortable.
You have no idea what I do or do not know regarding Kathy, so I wouldn't presume anything. If someone purchases a bootleg t-shirt from an
unofficial artist fan site, that person is taking a risk. Making a donation to a charity through someone running a fan site who offers no accounting information on the donations is also risky. No one is arguing the point that Kathy took advantage of people who trusted her. I think that has been established and those people can and should take action.
And who would you like to answer your question? The answer is quite obvious.
So now this is SP's fault because he didn't have his attorney's on this? And people aren't fans of his music anymore because some fan ripped them off?

Let's not play a game of twisting words around. NO ONE, not myself or anyone else who has posted in this thread has ever said that or even eluded to Steve Perry being at fault. That assumption is totally insane.
Yes there were people who believed the story she spun. Therefore they blamed him also. NOT ALL OF US ARE THAT DUMB, STUPID OR NAIVE.
There are plenty of us "normal" fans out there that have seen many of his concerts, that have bought the music, enjoy the music and can probably tell stories relating to different songs he has sang throughout their lives. We are the ones that love/enjoy/play the music and respect the man. THEN there are the ones that have an agenda. They feel the need to follow him, watch what he eats, drinks, what clothes he wears, follow him into restaurants, tape him with his friends in private moments, meetings etc. I am sure you know the type I am speaking of.
I think the majority speak out because this crap went on. There are probably twice or three times many who haven't spoken because they know now they got duped and they feel foolish. The ones speaking out here are protecting Steve Perry's name and what he built from being scammed again.
