Steve Perry at NIN Show Last Night

He is celebrity therefore it is to be expected. Saying so and so was seen at such event is hardly taramount to stalking. If he doesn't want to be famous give back the money. JMO.

Stalking is ala Rebecca Shaeffer. What SP in Oregon posted isn't stalking.

Well, many of us were not talking only about this thread... these kinds of posts have been going on for awhile.

Well, many of us were not talking only about this thread... these kinds of posts have been going on for awhile.

You have already admitted, to the folks upstairs, that you only came down to this site to cause mischief.

Every time some news is brought to the board concerning Perry, you jump in, with sentences like,"Here we go again."

Looking back, I notice that you have not posted a single topic of your own but have caused many to be derailed by your "Mischief."

Just saying.....................

For one thing, the mischief comment was a joke. I've said that about the Journey forum too. I'm just not someone who takes the whole fanatic/obsessive thing all that seriously and I like to have fun and joke around. For another thing, I RARELY start topics anyway, that has nothing to do with anything. When a poster like myself, and MANY others here, get along with MOST of the board, it's easy for things to derail when friends begin to joke back and forth. Believe me, my topics have been derailed also - it's the nature of a message board. It happens all the time, so that is also irrelevant.

And my "here we go agains" (which I've probably said twice, but if you want to call that "every" time, go right ahead) are not unique to me. I'm not the only one who throws in stuff like that and I'm certainly not the only one whose ever done it in regards to the Perry fawning, drooling and stalking topics. Good lord. :roll:

Yep. It's a fact. Show me a thread that hasn't been hijacked, derailed and ransacked, and I show you a thread nobody gives a crap about. It's the nature of any conversation. They tend to wind around, people interject things, and new topics pop up that people comment on.

No, I dare say not even the venerable S**P, nor his hair, nor his lips, nor his hands can keep an MR thread from the inevitability of derailment. :wink:

I don't know what all the hullabaloo is about. I see nothing obsessive in any of these threads. In fact, just the other day as I was carving Steve Perry's initials into my forehead I said to myself, "I wonder what Steve Perry's doing right this very minute." So I jumped up out of my Steve Perry bedsheets & threw on my silky black wig then shimmied my ass into my tightest pair of black spandex pants & proceeded to Twitter his every move. That is, up until the six p.m. prayer time when everything had to stop so I could take part in my nightly Steve Perry vigil which, by the way, just has to happen at six b/c I read somewhere Steve Perry might have been born at that hour .... or something.

He never returns my calls.

I don't know why. :twisted:
