They always play Oh Sherrie and Foolish Heart on the radio, but just heard about five of his songs back to back.

You might want to stick around. Rumors abound, but nothing concrete yet. We do know tracks have been laid down, demos listened to, drummers hired and recordings made. I can't believe I'm gonna do this, but to quote madsplash "We'll See".

I was just thinking about this. Most people who have radical surgeries end up in so much pain that many get addicted to prescription pain killers. I hope that's not true in Steve's case. My uncle had double shoulder surgeries and was a pretty straight up person who would have never considered abusing any kind of drug prior to this. He's been a pain killer addicted recluse for years now, not even participating in family gatherings or other things he once enjoyed. His doctor is serving time for overprescribing to many patients. I wonder how painful hip replacement surgery is?

C'mon girls, that was a fair question that has nothing to do with defaming SP. Don't you ever just wonder something....has that ever happened to you?

I think people who come and make these grand gestures of music coming do it with the best intentions. There's always hope but who knows if it will ever come to fruition. What's sad to me is that there are those who want to believe and there are those who eventually lose hope because this happens all the time; each and every year; that there is a possiblity of more music. I think it's better to just let the man do what it is he wants to do and do not expect anything at all. But even with that; we are still like the person peeking into the window of another's life and hoping that there will be some promise of a gift for you even when the curtains are closed.

Right, WE have it...in hope that some new music might come our way soon. :) Very doubtful that SP would ever have his own site with or without new music...he knows better. lol.

The short answer is no, as usual. On the other hand, Journey has a Relatively new Double Platinum album, a new one on the way and a #1 DVD release. But hey, Perry may show up at another baseball game next year, so don't give up hope! :)

I cannot explain to you how painful hip replacement surgery is except to ask you to imagine an internal amputation where they cut out your bones, then put the new hip parts in, and, in my case let the remaining old bone grow onto the new parts, which took 2 months before I was allowed to weight bare. I was in agony for at least 4-5 weeks. I had this done 4 years ago at 46, and it's already causing me some problems. I have been told I will have to have at least 2 more of these operations because hips only last so long in active people. As a sidenote, I am a recovering addict, and having to go back on the heavy painkillers for this issue was very dicey. I had to be very honest with myself everytime I took a pill, that I was taking it for the right reasons. Fortunately I have a good program, as I attend Narcotics Anonymous, as was able to not get lost in active addiction. This might be an option for your uncle, as alot of people don't know about NA-I didn't. The program deals with all kinds of addictions, including alcohol. My prayers are with your uncle, that he may get clean some day.
