"To my knowledge this is 1 of 2 copies in egsistence."

Perhaps you could just trade him the reel for Hooked On Phonics. And I don't consider this time "the height of his vocal career," either. It's subjective, but I'll take the late Escape and early Frontiers voice any day. Even parts of ROR.

Okay. I'm confused. You are VMI music so this is your ebay auction, right? Why are wowed by your own auction?

*Sigh* I'd buy it if I had an extra $1,000 laying around along with a reel-to-reel player, lol. (I seriously would though.)

Lora do you know if this "is" or "seems" legit. I for one can't afford it nor do I own a reel to reel, but I would hate to think anybody getting ripped off for over $1000.00.

Thanks,

This reel when played off a 2 track is beyond words.

Shouldn't a tape like this always have a backup somewhere? I remember tapes getting brittle over time and stretching. Tapes can lose their integrity. How has this thing kept from doing any of this over the years?

Not audio tapes
More so video tapes
Drop outs etc
I have heard the tape just recently
Its prefect and plays perfect

This tape has been kept in a smoke free home never touched.
Its been run only a few times.
If you have a high end stereo system with a 2 track you will be floored.

I hate to sell it illness and medical bills have forced my hand

I have just had a look at Froy's auctions. He is selling a domain name for 10 million dollars if anyone is interested. I then had a look at all the domain name auctions and there are some for sale for 21 million dollars! Is there really a market for this?
