It's subtle, but here's on there. You can hear faint harmonies.

Apparently this song goes back to '78. Nice find!

You don't think? I'd say it was him, or someone who REALLY learned how to pour his emotional style into the singing. Keep in mind it's a demo, not a polished up track.

I thought Mickey too. Or Kevin. Jonathan did an album with Mickey early on, if I recall. Is it from that or a later demo?

I honestly don't know. I just remember this demo being discussed here a couple years ago. Seems reasonable to conclude this demo is (an unused work) from the album you're speaking of. The piano styling sounds very Bad English, so I'm guessing that was the time period.
