It just dawned on me that THAT would be a really cool concept for a Journey album. Not as taxing on the voice. Stripped down arrangements. Perhaps Steve could handle something like that...just an idea.

If Perry could handle it, he would have done it on his own already. When Reba asked him to be on her duets album and he declined, that pretty much told us that he is cooked.
A project similar to what Robert Plant and Allison Krauss did was something I expected from Perry ten years ago but zip, zap, zilch.
