I am so sorry for your loss scarygirl.

I know how much we love our pets.

They become members of our families and our best friends.

So please, take care and again I am sorry for your loss.

Peace.

I have a cat and she might as well be our daughter as we have no kids. I dread the day myself. Was your cat hiding at all ? When they are sick they know a lot of times and will hide as it is instinct. I am so sorry for your loss.

The night before he didn't sleep with me. He hung out with new roommate. I was a little jealous thinking he was liking her better than his own momma. He was just being friendly is all. But he did wake me and bat the blinds to feed him.He ddnt eat though... He didn't eat Thursday either. He had this HUGE spring energy at teh vet office yesterday morning. He was running around. Jumpiong on things. He came up and gave me this big look, put his pawls on me. I didbn;t see it coming..... I thoiught lets get stitched and ditch this crazy dive...He was mini strokes all night. I found out ater talking to my friend who is a nuirse. He was really heavy when i took him home an dnot moving barely at all...... I thoiught he was still under sedation....

So sorry Scary Spice! I've never had a cat; only dogs. Those animals become members of the family and I know how hard it is to lose one of them.
At least she had a good life with you and you gave her good years. You did what you could do; if you'd known better you would have did that too. Take care.

Sorry for your loss. I have 2 dogs..a border collie and lhasa apso...who are getting near there. The border collie we raised from puppy, 14 yrs old...been breathing heavily for the past year...mostly just lays around the house. The lhasa we took in fully matured 11 yrs. ago ....figure these 2 are about the same age. They don't have much strength in their legs anymore...they still do have a good appetite.

As we have never had pets before, been wondering how much longer and how it's going to end for them. Will they just go in their sleep...or whether we can detect pain/suffering to make right choice by them.
