Question about the recent Perry release of Street Talk

Postby Majestic » Sun Nov 27, 2011 10:59 pm

Recently Steve Perry/Journey released Greatest Hits 2, and it is a terrific release that was well worth the $5 I paid Amazon. I know this release was also issued on vinyl, as was (I guess) Street Talk. I was poking around on Amazon recently wanting to buy the digital version of Street Talk, and was surprised to find it not there! Strange Medicine is there, and a couple of different Best of Steve Perry type albums, but no Street Talk! Is this something that will be released eventually? If yes, when, if no, why not?

Thanks!

Weird! Maybe it's just not available yet? Maybe once you get it resolved for yourself it might also be available for purchase? I hope! Sure would like to have this.

How lame. I've emailed my contact at Sony and he said he is looking into this and will get back to me.

I'm guessing they are in the same boat as a lot of record labels and have downsized so much that they don't have enough staff to properly handle customer emails. I'm grateful to work at a company that still reads and responds to every single customer email.

Lora,

Do you know if this digital album is supposed to be for general purchase apart from the vinyl?
