hmm.. that makes no sense.. especially with Neal constantly saying "the door is always open"...

and I'd have to believe that Herbie would be the last person Perry would approach about getting back in the band.. especially in 2005, considering the last time Herbie managed the band was 1995..

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I don't believe either of the posts. #13 doesn't make sense because Herbert wasn't the manager of Journey in 05 as the poster stated. Why would he approach Herbie, who Perry ousted, when he could simply have approached Neal? There's video of Perry and Neal on camera together at the HWOF ceremony, and Neal is there suggesting/asking Perry to come to the after ceremony concert and sing a song with the band. Perry hemmed and hawed -- he was trying to be gracious on camera, saying neither yes or no. The door was opened publicly from Neal's side of things at the ceremony.

I was at that concert, Perry didn't show, and Neal even apologized to the audience who were all anticipating, that sorry, Perry wasn't there.

#17 is silly.
