I amazed Perry even showed up.
The whole silly thing about this is that the recordings were very poor,

Somebody Somewhere may be a good song but A Perry led vocal song aint ever gonna happen that is releasable.

Steve Perry has recorded with a number of people and those recordings are sitting somewhere, some of them with the other artist. Maybe to show teeth here is to make sure others don't exploit his name.

I admit I was stunned that he allowed himself to be videoed at a court proceeding but...then again after I saw it a few times...not too surprised now.

Since you have heard the recordings, I doubt that Phil Brown is going to use those recordings as they are. Therefore, as the judge correctly stated that those works are derivative of the original and therefore in my opinion are NOT truthful works. But no ruling yet...as far as I know.
