DOA : one of the most underrated rock classics by Van Halen

DOA on VH II is one of the most underrated rock classics by Van Halen for some reason when it's a ballsy number showcasing VH at their finest. You get Dave's bad ass attitude & Eddie's guitar virtuosity in all its glory besides Alex's bombastic drumming & Michael's raunchy bass playing.

It's too bad some of my fellow VH fans seem to forget what a great kick ass classic rock song DOA is which defines what the original Van Halen was all about.

I totally agree about this song.

Van Halen 2 is such a great album! From "You're No Good" to "Beautiful Girls". The very first single I ever owned by any band was the 45 of "Dance The Night Away". Even at the age of 7 I knew what great music was.

I think I will enqueue it in winamp right now and jam! 8)

Accellerando! What a joy to hear a tempo change at the end! A totally kick ass tune! One of my top 20 VH songs!

What VH101 said. Great tune! But so is Light Up The Sky and Outta Love Again.

Thanks for reminding me of this tune, Wayne. I've got II playing at this very moment and, damn, it's good.
