2 DORKS GET EDDIE TALKING ABOUT THAT PHOTO:
The Dwyer and Michaels show in Davenport Iowa spoke with Eddie Van Halen yesterday and he addressed 'that' photo from the Elton John Oscars party. He was busy and didn't talk about much, but he said to call back another day so the guys could talk more. Here's some audio about the photo.

Sounds like Ed's been wearing out his keyboard. I wonder why Ed talks to those guys so much? I hope they get him on again soon with a nice long interview.

I think the next VH front man will be Diamond Dave (when this happens heaven only knows).

He's a strange ol' fellow is Ed!! Great to actually hear him though, and also new VH sounds, albeit on the keyboards!

I'd love to see DLR back in the band, but after seeing the London gig of his last solo tour, i have to say that his best days are long past...and that really does hurt me to say.

OK, from a 50-something year old you certainly wouldn't expect the mid-air plits and back kicks like the 70s/80s, but this is David Lee Roth!! Seeing as that sde of his act has now gone, there was very little left to be fair as even his voice had wained a little too and when the back kicks were attempted it was like watching a drunk uncle at a family wedding!

Don't get me wrong though, there is, was and will always be only one singer that epitomises VH and that is Diamond Dave and even with the above said i'd still love to see him recording new material with the brothers.
