They played it on the III tour 98-99. Cherone kicked ass, NIG :P

This is truly trivial, but at about 2 minutes, 22 seconds, Ed's guitar is heard almost entirely in the right speaker. It's noteworthy (maybe just to me) because he's almost always coming out of the left speaker. At the end of the passage it "migrates" back over to the left.

Hey guys - I thought of a trivia question while listening to Unchained. Who says, "C'mon Dave, give me a break." I am guessing Alex. Anyone know?

Me thinks it's Ed. Something in the back of my alcohol-laden mind says it's Ed "speaking" through his guitar.

Toast! Your input is needed! :D

I don't remember if I heard this or read it somewhere, but supposedly it's producer Ted Templeman saying the infamous line.

I guess they ran it through a synthesizer (or something similarly high-tech) to get the electronic sound.

I'm sure there is more to the story but, sadly, I don't know the details.

It was my understanding it was Ted Templeman, and the "electronic sound" wasnt added, but sounds that way because it was spoken through the studio "talkback mic", ie: the way the person at the board communicates with the band while they are behind glass in the studio.

The story goes that Dave was making fun of a studio exec that walked in (that suit is you!) and Ted popped in on the talkback and uttered the "c'mon Dave, gimme a break" line.

So I heard :-)

Now with a clearer head :| , I vaguely remember Toast! telling me the Templeman story. Neat piece of trivia. What else is there? I likes the trivia!
