I had a blast watching it,VH with Diamond Dave will play stadiums again just like Journey would do with Perry - no matter what all you may think of DLR or Perry.
Hagar is cool too though.
Nice post. Yeah, I am pro Van Halen in any way, except for with Gary and I dig both Sam and Dave for the same reasons, even though they both are so different. Reason? They are who they are and true to that.
You know, the more I watch Dave sing Jump in this matter, it sort of grows on you. Dave could sing the alphabet and I would get a kick out of it. I just enjoy the gut period. Man, watching some of his solo videos lately like for Going Crazy From The Heat, Yankee Rose, and Paradise. Good stuff.
If you were to take every VH song that I LIKE A LOT (sorry , watching Dumb and Dumber ) from both Dave and Sammy era, it would be at least a six disc greatest hits type of thing. What a catalog of songs!
I will go see both the Dave and Sam tours this year. Saw VH in '04 and will go see them in .......

More than anything it's going to be if Ed can get his act together.
I wanted to see what the total die hard DLR fans thought of all this, so I've been checking out the DLR Army Fan Forum lately...now granted, I only visit about 5 or 6 forums on the net and these are total die hard all the way DLR/Classic VH folk, but looking at the stats each day, I was blown away. Maybe some of you visit more forums or larger one's, so are not blown away by these stats, and these are just what I've seen rescently when I look in every so often. There are like always about 600 people at a time-guest and members checking the site out. They have like 20,500 members and around 600 post a day.
This got me thinking too that not everyone visits forums. I go to tons of concerts and speak with lots of people. Only a few visit forums. Also, not everyone is so up to date with everything that is on tv or being said on the net. If the average music concert fan heard that a classic VH reunion was taking place, they would go.
I was front row for VH in '04 and for DLR in '03. Both were great shows and both were great acts in their own way.
I also was actually quite impressed with how good Dave sounded on tv lately. Heck, I just think it's cool to see 'Diamond Dave' on tv!
Dave is always going to be Dave and will be just fine. Nothing Dave ever will do will surprise me.
No matter what Dave does, it would not affect the effect of a classic VH reunion. This reunion would be huge.
