Why would only the British and the Americans be in a poll for the finest musicians? Do you think they are the only 2 nations on earth?

Bo Diddley - Who Do You Love covered 169 times.
I've opened doors, I've opened minds
I've opened yours a thousand times
As I wait for you

I've fought the battle from the start
I've opened sores inside my heart
It bleeds without remorse

So Sorry to take so long on getting back to this but nobody touched it for so long, I'd just about given up.

Here's a link to the songs possible history.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yesterday
In my eyes, the Beatles were the magic that music was all about. Perfect music. It's just my opinion, understand.

I'm sorry that I didn't include more than two countries, but I'm hooked on the Brits as musicians and I admire their humor.

I picked up a record of Peter and Gordon, "The Best Of..." and one of my favorites is Women. I read that it was given to them by the Beatles.

The Beatles don't do much for me at all, but I appreciate what they did for music.

 3000 covers!!!!
That's a lot!

Personally I prefer European musicians but I guess your poll could be just a comparison between the yanks and the poms. :D

The best musicians in the world are at this time from Sweden.

They have a free music program for kids in Sweden that definately helps.

I almost agree with Tali Penny. Although I'd vote for Scandinavian musicians are the flavour right now. Finland particularly for Goth metal I KNOW some of which you like Penny (Poisonblack!!!!! and Charon, Sentenced etc). And Euro metal in general (Masterplan - Cornerstone etc).

But for what it's worth I voted British in the Poll just to satisfy that one question.

As a Briton I tend to agree with penny, Australia have given us some fantastic bands. germany , scandinavia , as well many other countries. I feel it is highly unreal to do a poll that would statistically only allow British or American musicians to be accounted for regarding their experience, creativity and Talent. There is more to music than Britain and America:)

Gotthard-Switzerland
Wigwam-Norway
Vow wow-Japan
Loudness-Japan
Airbourne -Australia
Ac/DC -Australia
Vengeance-Holland
Scorpions-Germany
Nexx-Spain
Masterplan-made up many different nationalities
Talisman-Sweden
INXS-Australia
Crowded House-Australia
Midnight Oil-Australia.......

To name but a few bands from anywhere but Here and the United States.
