Millions? Maybe about 2,000 people that post on VH forums at the most are dreaming of MA being back in VH. The same people that were dreaming of Roth being back in VH. These same people will always have something to bitch about. If MA was back they would be bitching about Dave's hair,Eddie's hair,Alex's sunglasses,the stage setup,what they wear,what songs they didn't play and on and on and on.

I don't think the average VH fan cares who is playing bass as long as Eddie and Dave are both in the band. The ticket sales can tell you that.

The ticket sales only tell you that people loved Van Halen with David Lee Roth. DOH! I loved VH with DLR too - who didn't? True, probably 50% of the fans don't care who plays bass - but the other half do care, and there are millions of them. I am one of them.

If we think Ed and Wolfgang are going to leave this tour with dad patting son on the back and saying, "Well done Wolfie... good job son" - I think we are in for a rude awakening. Unless Ed has really become healthy and free of his addictive personality in the last 60 days, it usually doesn't work like that. I think we are going to see some shit hit the fan. Look at how DLR acted on the Sam and Dave tour. If he starts playng that shit, Ed and DLR will be on each other's shit list within two weeks... and then God only knows what will happen. The word "meltdown" comes to mind. Think about it... there won't be any Sam or Mike to come to the rescue on this tour. I think we will be dealing with some serious National Enquirer content within a few months.
