They do have some awesome stuff, but I think "Naughty Naughty" did much more harm then good for them. Also, the recent "Naughty Naughty Christmas" didn't help much either. "Naughty Naughty" is to Danger Danger, what "Cherry Pie" is to that other band...

I did for quite a while several years ago. Bought all their newer albums and loved them, then they announced Ted had rejoined and then nothing for quite some time. Last time I checked their website it hadn't been updated in a few years I believe. I should check again.

I always went for good lyrics and great singers--and D2 has neither. Nothing "wrong" with them--just not my cup of tea. New stuff sounds about like the old stuff, so that should make the fans happy though.

See... lyrics or great singers really tend to not mean much in terms of if I like a band or not. The band has to have "it" for me to listen. If they have something that draws me in and keeps me there, regardless of what that is, I'm there.

I followed and listened back in the day when Metal Edge was the only way I kept up with music, lol. They were always in there. Thanks for posting these, didn't realize they had a new album. I like #1 a lot, #4 is pretty good too. #3 is pretty funny.

Excellent! "Ghost" reminds me of a harder rock Richard Marx song -- I love it. I'll be ordering my copy today.

Ok... now I figured out why it sounds so familiar to me. Really reminds me of an old Tommy Shaw solo song called "Dangeous Game". I posted the original version here a long time ago, but it's been taken down from YouTube since then. Here is a live version. The beat, pacing and chorus are very similar.

Ghost of Love

I'd buy the album for this song alone.

I guess I'm just more discriminating. The "it" isn't there for me on D2, and probably isn't there for you on some of the bands I enjoy. All well and good. This world would be extremely boring if we all liked the same things.

Exactly... if "it" was one understood thing amongst everyone, then "it" would actually have a name. There would be no point to "it".

Just heard track 1 once on YouTube a few days ago, and couldn't get it out of my head yesterday. That's why I love this band so much. Nothing mega-deep or ground-breaking about what they do, but they really are masters of their craft, and this is what they do best -- making awesome well produced, no-frills, good-times sing-a-long melodic rock tunes. I'm ordering my copy today. :)

Haven't listened to much from these guys aside from the first two albums. Will dig in some day!
