Even when they are just texting, their phones light up half the place and that ticks me off too.

People are just mindblowingly rude with their cell phones and it just keeps getting worse. My favorite lately is the "I'm gonna talk LOUD on my phone while in a long line at a busy lunch place like Subway and delay every one else who is in a rush at lunch hour" cell phone user.

I don't want people to overhear my conversations, regardless of what they're about and who they're with. If I'm going to talk, it will be in a private place or at least it will not involve me yelling about my latest sexual encounter or my night or latest business problem in earshot of 30 people! I'll talk quietly.

Texting has made it worse. You ever sat at dinner or just been holding a conversation with someone with their nose buried in their phone for half the time with their thumbs workin the buttons? The worst.

Amen to that! I have the same pet peeve. I don't want to hear your conversation! I also saw one guy who was in a quiet line like that, phone rang, he answered it and said "Can I call you back?" Why not just let it go to voicemail???

Hugh Jackman, by all accounts, is a class act...good for him.

He apparently stayed in character and sort of made it a part of the show.
