This school falls under the HBCU category (Historically Black College and University) that were all started at such a time in America when Blacks had no other options for their education. I used to teach at one, and the student population was right about 50/50 (black/non-black) and the faculty was predominantly white or African (not African American, btw). Interestingly enough, the exact same thing happened this year at that school, and MOST of the students who posted on FB regarding this were overwhelmingly in support of the caucasian girl who won the pageant. Sure, there were a disgruntled few, but for the most part the gal was welcomed with open arms.

I do think some of you are, to paraphrase Shakespeare, "protesting a bit too much" over this. And to those who think we live on a level playing field just cause it ain't the fifties any more, I give you exhibit A to the contrary.

Why is it people are "black" & "white" unless we're talking about race & then suddenly they become "African American" & "Caucasian"?

Unless I missed a post somewhere, I believe I'm the only one who mentioned the fifties & if you interpreted my message to read that I think we're on a level playing field, then all I can say is WOW---you're way off course!!!! Who said anything about level? I would elaborate but (A) I'm not sure you were referring to me in the first place & (B) you didn't elaborate yourself so I can only assume you were making a passing observation. Not trying to fight, so I'll just leave well enough alone.

have you had a squirter?

Don't know for sure what that means. But......like cookies...lets just say I like'm moist.

You don't know what squirting is? As the name implies, some women, um, squirt when they orgasm.

Apparently it's been popular lately, according to Dr. Drew, haha.

You know I hafta bring her back.......

I haven't really noticed that. What I have noticed though is that black people never acknowledge that Mariah Carey is half white and that Tiger Woods is half Asian, only that they are black. Carey doesn't even look black, yet even she will only reference herself as being black. Why is that?
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
