It is a gimmick for consumers to use more of their product than they need to, plain and simple.

Personally, I've never had a problem with detergent that was the same color as the cap because when I'm pouring, I use the "watch what the heck I'm doing" technique. It works pretty well.

This isn't quite the same as Hostess treats being made smaller than they used to be. I don't have an at-home fix for that. Therefore, I'm being taken down by the man.

I hadn't had Ho Ho's for a while and then we got a box recently. They ARE a little smaller and somehow, not as tasty. I think it's the foil wrapper that is no more.

I know - I found a quarter ounce of weed in the hollowed-out bottom of a peanut butter jar that I bought from a grocery store. Probably some stoner who works in the peanut butter factory stashed it in there to keep from getting busted with it.

Same thing with my laundry deter (Tide) and Woolite except I'm not so positive about these 2. These are the only things I've really noticed; how about you all?

Funny you should say this. I noticed the other day when I bought TP that they are the same size rolls, and look the same EXCEPT they are about 1/2" or so narrower. WTF is THAT about?
