Adam Lambert's CD Cover

General Intelligent Discussion & One Thread About That Buttknuckle

Young Jrny- If you ck the AI tour stops on You Tube you will see he attracts a wide range of ages. People my age were acting like teenagers . Every city review that I read said the place went crazy . Poor Kris had to follow that. I forgot to add earlier that if Elton, Bowie, and Freddie didn't faze people ,this cover and Adam's outfits should be a ripple. See you Nov 25,but I'll keep my mouth shut with Troy playing again !

Shoulda called the album
"Gay as I Can Be"

or

"Lock, Load, and Swallow"
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

His closing song -Time for Miracles for 2012 movie is so incredible on YouTube. He outsings anyone I have ever heard. What I am waiting to see is for him to go out with Queen. He told Brian May " I would love to". I think he will be huge for a long time and many other countries are aware of him. He will be worldwide.

. . . and what's wrong with that? (and I really don't care what the CD cover looks like, I'm not buying the CD for the cover)

Ugh!

I never thought he was a good singer.....and a fucking fruitcake to top...

Sorry. If you're going to prance around the stage like a fucking sperm burper...you'd better be able to bring with with your voice and performance....Freddy Mercury comes to mind. So does Elton John...both amazing singers/performers.....hell, Freddie wrote the book on front men....But fucking Lambert is about as average and vanila, when it comes to his singing, as a fucking karaoke singer...

Nothing but eye liner and limp wrists doesn't support an average voice....but a spectacular voice can support anything...something Lambert doesn't have.

What's that fat bitch Kirstie Alley doing on this fag's album cover? This guy/freak is forever doomed with that cover. There's still a pretty good chunk of the record buying public that has some self respect, and he just lost a big chunk of that demographic with that immoral, pseudo-human, shit stain of a cover. He might go over well in cess pools like San Francisco and Berkeley, but the more morally evolved parts of the country will (hopefully) be repulsed.

Hey i wish there is another David Bowie, sadly there is not other like him, i think Bowie androgen look is very different to this singer, Adam Lambert in the album cover try to be a pretty guy, doesn't seem very artistic or theatrical

I'm listening to Time For Miracles right now and have to say this guy has a great voice. Nice to hear a smooth tenor instead of the rasp that every new male singer seems to want to incorporate into their songs.

On this album, Adam is all over the place musically.

I'm now listening to the title track, For Your Entertainment and it's coming off as a cross between Michael Jackson and George Michael.

Brian May, you need to get this guy. Write some original material for him and run with it.

American Idol is rather campy to me, but it has launched some talented artists like Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson. If Adam Lambert wants to be taken seriously and not fade into oblivion like the majority of Idol contestants (even the winners), campy is NOT the way to go. It was fine in the 80s, but a guy looking like Cyndi Lauper's little sister is not going to work in 2009! They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but many do and it goes for albums too. Unfortunately, this album cover screams crap. I liked Cyndi Lauper though.

And I wonder why that is Rick

I guess for publicity, which it is getting, it was a smart cover? But then there are some who won't buy it because of the cover. It'll be interesting to see how sales go. I saw a poll somewhere where most people didn't like the cover.

This guy could be twice as good as Daughtry, but I don't care if this cd is Hysteria, Escape and Back in Black all rolled into one. That cd will never become part of my collection! It would completely queer up my other 1000 cd's!!!!

Don't laugh! That happens! Columbia House mistakenly sent me a 98 degrees CD once and I never bothered returning it, just threw it aside and eventually it got mixed in. Even with its cellophane still on, it made all my other CD's really swishy and sensative. :(

I'm a huge fan - this guy is amazing! One of the greatest voices, EVER!

And, gay or not, he's gorgeous!

But that cover SUCKS!!! It's just not even a good picture .

This should have been the cover.. still gay and glam and all, if that's what he wanted,,, but it's also a great picture

Image

check out this clip - Gay, yes. but also damn sexy - and he's just one hell of an entertainer. And, again, the incredible voice....

a little slower,, also great,
