I call it the hunter-gatherer principle. Hunters go out, find prey, hunt, bring prey back. Hunting is high energy demand so wasting as little time and energy as possible is essential; more efficient, less wasteful.
Gathering, however, is different. There is only so much you can carry, but if you pick something now, later on you may find something better, and have to drop something you have already picked, which is wasteful. So it makes more sense to go out and look first, then pick up the best on the way back. More efficient, less wasteful.

Men tend to hunt, women tend to gather. Works for me!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Then it means I need to stop paying attention and get more hyper, unfocused and forgetful? I'm working on it. I'm getting older so the forgetful part should start becoming easier sooner or later.

Yes, hearts still beating but I've been brain dead for awhile. :P

Seriously, though....the majority of my time is spent doing artwork and one of my weekly activities is kayaking and on top of that I practice meditation. So I really am very relaxed and quiet most of the time regardless of assumptions made from type on here.

The female Missed Two Stores and a chunk of Macy's. Epic fail if you ask me.

   It must be ADHD! LOL! I hate shopping..........blue line for me! My husband will tell you........I am quick to choose what I want and leave........Dan is the red line............so much for male female comparisons! If it is something of great intrest it will take my attention longer........but not too long.

I am quick to decide and move on. I hate indecision and I grow impatient with people who waffle on the simplest things. Decide! Choose! Why waste time over picking things that mean very little! I can see a car.........but geez pick a restaraunt for crying out loud!

I feel for 'ya. I only scored a 10 as well. Guess it takes people like us to balance those who are constantly bouncing off the walls. So Andrew must be like a "2" since he was on the phone while laying in the driveway with a back injury? Very goal oriented, I'd say!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
