You gals love all the sappy-ass songs.....if melodic rock only covered wizards and dragon lyrics like Ronnie James Dio - you'd never listen to it....

This songs appeal is in its subject matter. If this were about Frodo Baggins, and his trek to Moria - you'd have absolutely no interest..... :P

BTW, the guitar solo in this song is completely overkill. A slow plodding song all the way through, then this disjointed, overly gratuitous solo...  :?

Exactly. Just like songs like Still They Ride.......I just looooove that grandiose/soulful type of vocal delivery.

Actually, no, I LOVED that song for weeks and this is the first time I've seen him play guitar :P That DEFINITELY isn't it. I love the long emotional guitar solo at the end of a ballad. Pretty simple 8)

Oh, and good luck with your quoting now

I thought this song was going to be great when i first heard the clips, the chorus is really good but the rest of the song(low end ) just ruined it for me..was a big let down :(

I like his low end, looking forward to hearing it on the TSO material in a couple weeks. It always surprises me that range/high end male vocals mean more to guys than gals. I would have thought it would be the other way around. But hey, give me raw, powerful/soulful vocals over crystal clear high girly vocals any day. :)
