Bernie Williams playing Natl Anthem Cavs-Knicks

Postby Ehwmatt » Sat Nov 07, 2009 11:01 am

Can someone explain to me how Bernie Williams was nominated for a fucking Grammy? He couldn't play as well as an average 10-year-old beginner in a Guitar Center!

Holy fuck, that was awful!

I will look for YouTube footage when it's up

BTW, New York fans are pathetic cheering for opposing players. I don't care if they think LeBron's coming there or not. Absolutely pathetic, front-running garbage.

I'd like to see the video....searched but couldn't find it.

Regardless, I don't think he's as bad as you claim. He's exposing some feel and chops here:

Granted, his tone sucks ass through that Mesa Booger....he really needs a different amp rig for the kinda player he is...

But still, he's not that bad...

Or is this just anti-yankee hate boiling to the surface?

No, I found that exact video after this while searching and I was SHOCKED it was the same player. He must have just been incredibly nervous. He had a beautiful Suhr but his tone sounded worse than a 10W Squier practice amp! Maybe he couldn't hear himself playing at all or anything.

Lots of HUGE noticeable clams on the performance last night. I guess his hands looked pretty nervous. He probably doesn't gig to huge crowds like that ever.

He must be good if he's playing with the likes of Sklar... you'd just be amazed to hear this SSB performance.

I'm searching all over, I can only find pictures, no video... maybe there's a reason for that, haha... I'm going to check the Knicks site now, doubt it's on there.
