Anyone watching it? It seems like they're trying to cram all 17 episodes of the original into six hours. They've also added a touch of romance and oddities akin to Lost or Twin Peaks. If you're not familiar with the original series, AMC has all the original episodes with Patrick McGoohan on line.

Note: Hayley Atwell is just drop dead gorgeous.

That was a complete clusterfuck.... I turned the channel after I couldn't make heads or tails out of what the hell was going on.

Watch the original episodes and don't waste your time on this.

I watched the conclusion of the AMC remake last night. Great actors, but what a terrible ending. I know writers like to be clever and leave things muddled but this didn't even leave you any strings to start untangling. What a mind fuck. Usually there will be one clever person who comes in the forums and breaks everything down to make some sense of it all. That wasn't happening last night on the official site. People were just like "What?".

This material was ripe for a remake (especially in the wake of Battlestar Galactica's succesful "re-imagining"), but the reviews were so bad I didn't even bother. AMC will prolly run all six episodes a final time this weekend.
Gunbot, is it worth the time?

If you were a fan of Twin Peaks or a big follower of Lost, then you might enjoy this, just because everything is so open ended and you can create your own theory on what is really going on. For me though, the writers didn't give you enough concrete material to build up a workable hypothesis on what was really happening.

Everything was too abstract, and I knew, with thirty minutes left in the last episode last night that there was no way they were going to wrap everything up. The sad part was they didn't even attempt to.

I have to say it is not worth watching.

That seems to be the consensus.
Thanks.

I really didn't get it either, but it was still the best thing on TV at the time. The big ball that chased people was my favorite part of the show! 8) I also think Patrick McGoohan was a very good actor. I especially liked him as the various conniving murders he played on Colombo.
