As I was reading the article, I realized that this has been an utterly wretched decade - not just for everyone collectively, but for me personally. The good news is that it feels like the world is on an upswing now and I am finally so excited about the decade to come! I have a feeling that on December 31, 2009, we are all going to party like it's 1999, but instead of expecting an ending, we will be looking forward to a new beginning.
