Mega Man?

My son showed me this site... largely based on the fact that there's a pic of Steve Perry on the front.

Go to "Mega Man".

Mega Man
Elec Man and R.E.M.'s "All the Right Friends" and Journey's "Faithfully"
Mega Man

The Elec Man stage of the original Mega Man features a remarkably familiar tune: The melody of R.E.M.'s "All the Right Friends". Was Capcom stealing Michael Stipe's thunder? No, of course not. Both Capcom and R.E.M. were simply paying tribute to the greatest ballad of all time: Journey's "Faithfully." Is it a coincidence that lead singer Steve Perry dropped out of the band right around the time Mega Man became a hit? Not at all. Obviously, the Blue Bomber blew him up and stole his power (get equipped with Balladeer Blaster!). Sadly, Mega Man is known to discard his power-ups after each adventure, which is why he talks like a squeaky prepubescent in subsequent games instead of belting out Perry's husky, soulful crooning. More's the pity.

personally, I think it's a bit of a stretch. But it gave me a giggle.
