Classic Radio Moment

Some of you may be aware of the campaign that we are having in the UK to get Killing in the Name of by Rage Against the Machine to be the Christmas No.1 as a protest against the X Factor crap that we are served up every year.

Anyways the BBC has a news and sport station called Radio 5 Live. This is a station that plays no music. Today during their morning show (prime time) they reported on the RATM campaign and had a Live hook up with the band who then did a live version of the track. Apparently they had promised not to swear.

Well, you guessed it, come the climax of the song what comes blaring out of the radio... " Fuck You I Won't Do What You Tell Me". Oh the irony...what a beautiful moment.
