What's With Sting?

Postby Enigma869 » Thu Dec 24, 2009 12:44 pm

Just saw the dude on Larry King. He looks fucking Amish. Someone needs to buy that fucker some razors for Christmas. On another note, perhaps he should get a real fucking name, too

What's up with kathryn mcphee? Didn't she have reddish hair? One of my all time favorite Christmas songs, was not moved by her rendition

I think it's hilarious - Sting was always a nutcase, and has never been predictable.

Have you ever listened to The Police from the early days?

I bet Stewart Copeland is proud of Sting's new music. They are both lunatics.

I agree Lula. Her rendition was less than awe-inspiring and I personallty preferred her old look. She looks like an old hag now and it simply does nothing for me.

She came on some entertainment show a few months ago with her new platinum blond short hair look. I was stunned. She was so beautiful before, just a perfect face, and now looked so washed out and thin. Here's the b/f and after. She's unrecognizable to me. I wouldn't even know it was her if not told.

He's got one... it's Gordon Sumner. I'd stick with Sting too!

I don't think Sting is comfortable unless he's naked and smeared with tribal paint in some undeveloped hole of the world. It's made a lot of his music unrelatable to me. If I wanted to listen to crap like that I'd go down to the Museum of Discovery or watch National Geographic.

"The Soul Cages," "Ten Summoner's Tales," and "Mercury Falling" are all quite accessible, and brilliant to boot. When he's on, he's unparalleled. When he's off on one of his Paul Simon-esque musical "journeys" he is unlistenable.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

The thing is, he's so rich after the last Police tour that he's probably a little eccentric and doesn't even care what his fans want at the moment. He's just doing something that appeals to himself in some weird way.

Ahh - the only way to listen to Sting...with Vinnie Colaiuta on drums (he played the tours on all three albums)
