the football players of the past would have given his body and soul for the team... Mccoy hurts his shoulders a little...and leaves the game for good... wimp ass... you would have never seen that 10-15 years ago... damn baby ass players of today... MCCoy should have been tougher... With McCoy healthy I think TEXAS wanted it more.. their defense was primed and ready... then McCoy gets hurt and the team was in shock for two quarters...

Rick, pinched nerve in the shoulder, McCoy said he had NO control over his throws. There's playing with a banged up hamstring or a broken finger, but if you can't even throw the ball in the general direction of your receiver, I dunno...

Colt had quite a shot at history. I don't think he could play.

Those team doctors have enough drugs on hand to make Michael Jackson get a boner. That pussy should have played. Besides, with all of the interceptions the kid was throwing, why not let McCoy go out there and give it a try? 5-7 vicodins, a handful of amphetamines and he comes out for the second half ready to perform like Tiger Woods in a whorehouse.

I thought they might try and sneak him in there with 5 minutes to go down 3, but then you throw him in there and he throws a pick right away, then everyone lambasts Brown for making a terrible decision when they were coming back with Gilbert under center. Who knows.

Tebow would have played, Michael Robinson from Penn State a few years back would have played, Vince Young would have played, but more importantly ... they would have at least tried to play. It's real simple if you're McCoy ... you put your helmet on, run on the field and tell freshy to go back on the sidelines and get back to trying to figure out Blues Clues.

Linda, being from TN I'm a big UT fan and usually hate BAMA; but, I'm a SEC fan too. So, when an SEC team playes anyone else I always pull for them. Having said that, I've heard Colt interviewed a couple of times over his career on Dan Patrick and think he's a great kid as well as QB.

We had a a few friends over and were all upset when he got hurt and couldn't return...so sad. But we also thought your backup QB did a bang up job after he got his legs. Even'tho they didn't win, it sure was close.

That made me think that if Colt could have played your Horns had an excellent chance of winning. That we'll never know. But sure do wish we could have seen Colt play that game.
