The difference is I'm making the same good solid points without the underlying need to bolster my ratings. Rush's rhetoric is typically ramped up, but he makes some good points here underneath his trademark, sure to enrage style. The numbers don't lie. I didn't touch the political aspect of it as Rush did with Obama, but you bet your bottom dollar the guy was practically salivating at the possibility of displaying his big liberal lion heart to the world.

The first person that suggests returning Aristide to power needs to be shot. As he became more mentally unstable over the years he was reverting more and more to the tactics used by Baby Doc in trying to silence the opposition so he could keep a grip on power.
I'm not a Rush fan but he is absolutely right on this one.
The big fear here is if bandits start grabbing relief aid. A lot of this stuff is going to have to be caravaned to remote areas so I expect to see gangs and thugs eventually making an appearance when things start moving. With the large number of troops we are putting on the ground there (compared to past relief operations), there is always the chance of some type of violent confrontations flaring up between locals and our soldiers, especially if someone is shot or hurt by one off our guys over looting or some other offense.
